KML Milestones

• KML Bearing along with Luoyang Bearing Corporation established the first Chinese bearing joint venture factory adopting advanced manufacturing techniques and using automated equipment imported from NTN, Japan .

• 1985

  KML Bearing along with Guangdong PRB Yangchun Bearing Company Ltd. established another joint venture bearing factory adopting new manufacturing technology and importing equipment from Italy and Japan .

• 1987

  KML Bearing established its Research & Development Group, which was set up in Hong Kong to research and develop low noise electrical motor bearings.

• 1989

  KML Bearing developed the first automated clean room, production line for cleaning, greasing and sealing ball bearings. This innovative production line was adopted by the three largest Chinese bearing manufacturers at the time, HRB, ZWZ, LYC as well as other leading sealed ball bearing factories throughout the China .   These production lines were also exported to Great Britain and the United States .

• 1992

  The KML brand was registered.

  KML Bearing established its third joint venture named Chongqing Changjiang Bearing Industry Inc. This joint venture featured a high level of automation and advanced production management concepts. The main focus of this joint venture was the production of low noise deep groove ball bearings, sealed deep groove ball bearings and other non-standard bearings. The production output of this joint venture topped the Chinese bearing industry.

• 1993

  KML Bearing Canada Inc. was established in Brossard , Quebec , Canada .

• 1996

  The headquarters of KML Bearing Canada Inc. was moved to Mississauga , Ontario , Canada .

• 1997

  KML Bearing established their Operation and Logistics Centers in Guangzhou and Shanghai , respectively.

  KML Bearing launched its website.

• 1999

  KML Bearing became UKAS ISO-9001 certified.

• 2000

  KML Bearing developed its e-business strategy.

• 2001

  KML Bearing established its visual identification system.

• 2003

  A KML Scholarship was set up in Henan Science & Technology University ;

  The KML Technical Center was established and initiated the advanced scientific research projects of applying nanotechnology and water jetting technology.

• 2005

  KML Powertech Ltd. was founded.

  KML Bearing USA, Inc. was established in Pottstown , PA , USA .

  KML Bearing Canada Inc. opened another sales company in Edmonton , Alberta in Canada .
