Generation I: Based on a double row angular contact ball bearing . Used for both driven and non-driven wheel application.
Double row tapered roller bearings are also available.
Generation II: The outer bearing ring of the double row angular contact ball bearing features an integral flange. Bolted to the brake disc & wheel .
Typically used for non-driven front or rear wheels.
Generation III:
This unit has an integral double row angular contact ball bearing. The inner ring has an integral flange for wheel and brake rotor attachment and an outer ring with a flange for attaching the unit to the suspension.
Used for both driven and non-driven wheel application.
